James is currently the CEO of BetterLabs, the Strategic Innovation function of RACWA.  BetterLabs explores new growth opportunities for RACWA through its $23m corporate venture fund, BetterLabs Ventures, together with the prototyping, commercialisation and scaling of new and innovative businesses via the internal incubation team.  Prior to joining BetterLabs, James was a Partner at KPMG focusing on assisting companies, from start-ups to large corporates across a wide industry spectrum, access funding for innovation and R&D. James also spent time in various roles, including management consulting, advocacy and project management, in the resources sector in Australia and overseas, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) from the University of Western Australia.
